Overview
The Axis Q2112-E (model 02614-001) is a fixed-lens thermal imaging camera in a sealed box form factor, purpose-built for long-range perimeter monitoring, industrial facility surveillance, and outdoor threat detection where thermal sensitivity matters more than visible light. The VGA thermal resolution (640×480) and low NETD sensor deliver thermal discrimination at extended range without dependency on ambient lighting. This is a standalone thermal camera, not an accessory — it mounts directly to facility infrastructure or integrates with PT-mount heads (sold separately) for automated scanning.
Compatibility
The 02614-001 is compatible with any network infrastructure supporting ONVIF Profile S/T/G video management systems — Milestone, Axis Camera Station, and third-party VMS platforms. The pendant mounting style supports facility-standard pole or wall surfaces; PT-mount compatibility enables integration with automated pan-tilt heads for guard-tour capability. No mechanical interchangeability with visible-light camera families — thermal optics and sensor architecture are not swappable across product lines.
Installation Notes
Mount the 02614-001 with clear sightlines to the perimeter or target area; thermal imaging does not penetrate walls, heavy fog, or rain curtains. The box form allows flexible orientation — horizontal, vertical, or angled — to cover detection zones.
