It's engineered for deployments requiring sustained operation beyond the capacity of the base UPS unit, such as in server rooms or network closets.

Compatibility

This Extended Battery Cabinet is designed for use with Vertiv Liebert APS UPS systems. It is explicitly configured with two Lithium-Ion battery strings. Ensure your UPS model supports the addition of external battery cabinets and is compatible with Lithium-Ion battery chemistry for optimal performance and safety. It requires specific EBC cables (sold separately) for connection to the UPS.

Installation Notes

Connection to the UPS requires a dedicated EBC cable, available in 1, 3, or 5-meter lengths (APSEBCCBL1M, APSEBCCBL3M, APSEBCCBL5M). The cabinet houses up to 14 battery modules, configured here as two Lithium-Ion strings.
