The analog box camera is the right tool when the install needs to fit into an existing analog infrastructure or when the application benefits from a CS-mount lens that does not have an IP equivalent. Super Dynamic 6 imaging handles the high-contrast scenes that defeat lower-tier analog cameras — entryways with bright daylight outside and dim interiors, parking decks with shifting light, and mixed-lighting industrial spaces.
Select the CS-mount lens to match the scene — narrower focal lengths for distant detail, wider for general coverage. Verify the analog DVR supports the camera's resolution and signal format. For installs that plan an eventual IP migration, document the camera positions and cable runs so the future IP upgrade can be planned cleanly. Test the camera in its actual lighting conditions before final commissioning; analog imaging is more sensitive to the actual install lighting than digital.
