Overview

The ACTi PMMC-0200 is a 32GB SanDisk MicroSDHC Class 10 memory card for on-device recording in ACTi thermal and network camera systems. Class 10 speed rating guarantees sustained write performance — critical when a camera is writing continuous video frames to local storage without dropping frames. This card fits deployments where distributed, edge-based recording eliminates dependency on a centralized NVR, and where PoE-powered cameras have limited storage expansion options.

Compatibility

The PMMC-0200 integrates with ACTi thermal camera models and select ACTi network cameras that support microSD expansion. It operates within standard PoE power constraints (802.3af), so no separate power adapter is required when installed in a PoE-powered host. Local storage via microSD card is the only persistent recording option on remote or field-deployed thermal cameras where NVR integration is impractical or network latency is a concern.

Storage and Performance

Capacity of 32GB supports roughly 12–24 hours of continuous 720p or 1080p recording depending on bitrate and codec — meaningful for thermal cameras running 24/7 without network connectivity. Class 10 designation means minimum sustained write speed of 10 MB/s, sufficient for single-stream HD or thermal video without the complexity of faster (and costlier) UHS-II cards. If your deployment requires longer local retention, plan for external USB storage or a networked NVR; a single 32GB card is edge storage, not a replacement for centralized archival.
