The ACTi PMAX-1015 is a flush mount installation kit designed for recessed ceiling deployment where surface-mounted or pendant installations conflict with finished ceiling aesthetics. This accessory solves the integration problem when you need a dome camera concealed within the ceiling plane rather than protruding below it. The PMAX-1015 enables clean, professional installations in retail environments, office ceilings, and commercial spaces where visible hardware is not acceptable.
Compatibility
The PMAX-1015 is compatible with ACTi E89, E815, E816, E817, and E822 camera models. Verify your specific camera model before ordering to ensure proper fitment and mounting alignment. The kit does not alter PoE power delivery or network connectivity — your camera continues to draw power and communicate via standard Ethernet infrastructure unchanged.
Installation Notes
Recessed ceiling mounting requires standard hand tools and basic electrical familiarity. The kit is designed for drop-ceiling or recessed soffit installations where the camera housing sits flush or nearly flush with the finished ceiling surface. Ensure ceiling material can support the camera weight and that access to the recessed space allows for wiring and lens positioning. PoE injector or PoE switch delivers power; no separate power supply is required.
