Overview
The PMAX-1011 is a flush mount kit designed to integrate the ACTi B511 2MP camera into ceiling or wall cavities with a clean, recessed finish. This accessory handles the mechanical interface and support structure needed when the camera body must sit flush with the mounting surface — typical in retail, office, or hospitality environments where visible mounting hardware creates an unfinished appearance or draws unwanted attention. The kit works with standard PoE-powered B511 installations, so no separate power runs are required beyond your existing network cabling.
Compatibility
This kit is designed exclusively for the ACTi B511 camera. It supports B511 deployments using standard 802.3af PoE power delivery (the B511 draws under 13W, well within af limits). The PMAX-1011 is sized and mechanized for the B511's form factor — do not attempt to use it with other ACTi models or third-party cameras, as mechanical fit and electrical isolation will not be guaranteed.
Installation Notes
Flush mounting typically requires roughing a cavity into drywall, plaster, or equivalent building material before the kit can be anchored. The kit provides the bracket assembly and installation hardware needed to secure the B511 inside that cavity. Ensure the wall or ceiling cavity is sized appropriately for the B511's physical envelope plus the bracket assembly footprint. PoE power delivery remains standard 802.3af over Category 5e or better cabling — no special wiring changes needed. Verify cavity access for future maintenance or camera repositioning before final installation.
