Seven 10/100/1000BASE-TX ports handle standard Ethernet camera and recorder connections, while two combo gigabit SFP slots accept either copper or optical fiber transceivers — critical when you're running long-distance backbone links to remote camera arrays or bridging isolated security zones without dedicated fiber infrastructure.

The CWGE9MS ships with an internal 100–240VAC power supply, so it integrates directly into standard equipment racks without external power bricks. Managed switching (vs. unmanaged) means you can configure VLANs to isolate camera traffic from administrative networks, apply port-level QoS to prioritize live-view streams over backups, and monitor link health — essential in multi-building campuses or carrier-class installations.

Compatibility

The CWGE9MS works with any surveillance camera, NVR, or edge device that supports 10/100/1000 Ethernet or SFP optical connectivity.
