Description

Geovision 84-TVD8810-0010 8M WDR Vandal Dome Cable

Overview

The Geovision 84-TVD8810-0010 is an 8-meter pre-terminated network cable assembly designed for the Geovision 4.3X Super LOW LUX WDR PRO Vandal IP dome camera. This is a factory-matched cable — no field crimping, no connector hunting. It carries power and network data from the PoE switch to the camera head, eliminating the most common installation delay in vandal-proof dome deployments. Use this when running the dome to a network closet or NVR more than 5 meters away.

Compatibility

This cable is designed for Geovision's WDR PRO vandal-proof IP dome line, specifically the 4.3X model family (84-TVD8810 series). Verify your camera's part number before ordering — mismatched connectors waste installation time. The cable terminates in standard RJ-45 (Ethernet) connectors compatible with any PoE-enabled network switch or injector that supports 802.3af or 802.3at power delivery.

Installation Notes

Eight meters of cable gives you solid reach from a typical network rack to a ceiling or wall-mounted dome without intermediate patch panels. Route the cable through conduit in high-vibration or corrosive environments (warehouses, exterior walls) to protect the jacket from abrasion or UV degradation. Avoid tight coils during installation — maintain a 4-inch minimum bend radius to prevent internal conductor kinking. Do not exceed the cable's rated operating temperature range; check the camera's environmental spec sheet for mounted location limits.
