The Panduit UTP28X6INGR is a 6-inch, 28 AWG Category 6A Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord. Its compact diameter and solid construction are designed for high-density data center environments, simplifying cable management and supporting demanding network applications. This cord is ideal for clean, organized deployments where space is at a premium.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring full compatibility with 10GBASE-T Ethernet and other high-speed data transmission up to 500 MHz. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, meaning it can safely deliver power to compatible devices without requiring separate power supplies. It is wired for compatibility with both T568A and T568B schemes.

Installation Notes

Constructed with 28 AWG solid conductors and a CM/LSZH (Plenum-rated) jacket, this cable offers a reduced diameter of 0.185 inches (4.7mm) for easier routing in crowded racks.
