Overview

The Z972 is a 5MP indoor mini PTZ camera engineered for compact ceiling or wall mounting in retail, office, and facility environments where space and aesthetics matter. The 2.7–13.5mm motorized zoom lens provides 5x optical zoom, letting you frame wide corridors or tighten on details without camera repositioning. Built-in 850nm infrared LEDs with 120m working distance deliver usable monochrome surveillance in total darkness—essential for 24/7 monitoring across retail floors, back offices, and low-traffic zones. WDR processing rated at 145dB handles backlit scenes (sunlit doorways, bright windows against dark interiors) without washing out shadow detail. H.265 and H.264 compression reduce bandwidth and storage footprint while maintaining forensic-grade clarity. Deep Learning analytics (DLPU) enable smart intrusion protection, line crossing detection, and area intrusion triggers, reducing false motion alerts and letting you react to genuine threats.
