Overview
The ACTi A912 is a 5MP hemispheric dome built for discreet indoor surveillance in tight spaces—retail floors, office corridors, lobbies, and stairwells where ceiling-mounted coverage needs to blend into the environment. The 180° horizontal and vertical viewing angle eliminates corner blindspots and eases camera count in complex layouts. Power comes via PoE (802.3af, Class 3), so a single Ethernet cable handles both data and 12.95W of supply; no separate power runs required.
Compatibility
The A912 works with any standard IP video management system supporting ONVIF Profile S, G, and T—including Milestone XProtect, Axis Camera Station, Avigilon, and generic ONVIF-compliant VMS platforms. Built-in 2-way audio (microphone in, line-in, line-out) integrates with access control systems and intercom networks that support SIP or HTTP-based audio signaling. The 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port connects directly to managed PoE switches, PoE injectors, or NVRs with integrated PoE outputs.
