Overview

The ACTi Z31 is a 4MP mini bullet camera engineered for discreet surveillance in space-constrained environments where durability and low-light performance matter. The compact housing fits tight spaces—under eaves, corner mounts, or integrated into architectural elements—without sacrificing weatherproofing or image quality. IP67 rating protects optics and sensors from dust ingress and water jets, making it suitable for retail floors, transportation hubs, and industrial outdoor deployments. PoE (802.3af) power eliminates the need for separate electrical runs; a single network cable delivers both video transport and operational power, reducing installation complexity in remote or retrofit scenarios. The Z31 supports H.265 and H.264 compression, allowing flexible integration with legacy systems while optimizing bandwidth and storage efficiency depending on your VMS architecture.

Imaging and Detection

4MP resolution delivers sharp detail across monitoring zones. Extreme WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) balances bright and dark areas in a single frame—eliminating washout in mixed-lighting scenes (sun-blasted doors paired with dim interiors). Integrated IR night vision with adaptive illumination enables round-the-clock surveillance in complete darkness. Super Low Light Sensing (SLLS) technology boosts sensitivity in near-darkness without excessive noise.
