Compatibility
The CAM-4MP integrates with any standard network video recorder or video management system that accepts ONVIF Profile S, Profile G, or Profile T streams. Its single RJ-45 Ethernet port (10/100 Base-T) with 2m pigtail connector connects directly to PoE+ switches or injectors that deliver IEEE 802.3at power. H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression formats ensure compatibility with legacy and modern VMS platforms, from open-source solutions to proprietary systems. Power the CAM-4MP via PoE+ (802.3at) — the camera draws sufficient current that standard PoE (802.3af) injectors are inadequate; confirm your switch or injector supports high PoE before deploying. Operating temperature range is −30°C to 60°C, so installation in arctic or tropical climates requires no additional enclosure. The metal casing supports pole, corner, and rack mounting; verify mechanical compatibility with your chosen bracket. Auto-focus lens aids field installation but requires a test image to verify focus is set correctly for your distance-to-subject after final positioning.
