The BFD-45 is a replacement or upgrade solid front door sized for 45-rack-unit enclosures. At 81.72 in tall and 25.4 in wide, it matches the footprint of full-height BGR-series rack frames — useful when you're converting an open-frame or mesh-door build to a solid-panel configuration for cable management aesthetics, limited-access equipment rooms, or light-duty access control on a server/AV rack. The BFD-45 ships with handles and mounts directly to the BGR frame without additional hardware modification.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Middle Atlantic BGR series rack enclosures in the 45U height configuration. Verify your existing rack is a BGR-series frame before ordering — the door hinge and latch geometry is frame-specific. This door is not interchangeable with WMRK, ERK, or other Middle Atlantic frame families. If your enclosure is a different rack unit count (e.g. 25U, 37U), confirm the RU height matches before purchase; Middle Atlantic offers solid front doors in multiple RU sizes within the rack enclosure accessory line.
