Description

Middle Atlantic 837B 3-Gang Rectangular Brass Carpet & Tile Floor Flange

Overview

The Middle Atlantic 837B is a three-gang rectangular brass flange designed for carpet and tile floor finishes over the OmniBox concrete floor box series. Measuring 6 in wide × 13.25 in deep × 0.75 in tall, the 837B sits flush at floor level and provides the finished perimeter trim that transitions between the in-floor box and the surface covering — keeping the installation clean and preventing edge lift on carpet or tile. This is the flange component, not a complete floor box assembly; it pairs with the corresponding OmniBox three-gang concrete floor box body. If you are planning a floor box installation in a commercial AV, security, or structured-wiring deployment where low-profile floor access is required, this trim piece is the correct finish component for concrete slab pours with carpet or tile surface treatments.

Compatibility

The 837B is designed for use with the Middle Atlantic OmniBox three-gang rectangular concrete floor box family. It is compatible with carpet and tile flooring surfaces — the brass flange provides the correct height offset (0.75 in) and footprint (6 in × 13.25 in) for standard three-gang concrete box applications. It is not intended for wood, raised-access, or poured-finish floors; verify the mating floor box model against your pour depth and gang count before ordering. For a complete floor box solution, pair with the appropriate Middle Atlantic OmniBox concrete body and the correct cover or service fitting for your outlet/AV configuration. TAA compliance is not claimed for this SKU.

Installation Notes

The 837B installs after the concrete pour has cured and the floor covering is laid. The 0.75 in height accommodates standard carpet or tile thickness; confirm your floor finish depth does not exceed this tolerance or the flange will sit proud of the surface. Brass construction provides durability in high-traffic areas. No special tooling is specified in evidence beyond standard hand tools for fastening to the box body.
