Overview

The Middle Atlantic UFAF-2A is a 2-rack-unit blank faceplate designed for the UFA Small Device Mounting Shelf series. At 19 inches wide and just 0.75 inches deep, the UFAF-2A fills unused rack space cleanly — blocking dust ingress, maintaining airflow discipline, and presenting a finished appearance in AV racks, server cabinets, and security equipment enclosures. The black brushed anodized finish resists scratching and blends with standard rack hardware. Two mounting points secure the panel to standard EIA-310 19-inch rack rails without tools beyond a screwdriver.

Compatibility

The UFAF-2A is engineered specifically for the Middle Atlantic UFA Series rack mounting system. It occupies exactly 2RU (3.5 inches height) in any standard 19-inch EIA rack enclosure — compatible with Middle Atlantic rack cabinets and open-frame racks that follow the EIA-310 rail standard. Use it to blank off shelf positions in UFA configurations where not all bays are populated, or to reserve space for future device additions without leaving open gaps that compromise rack airflow management.
