Overview

The UFAF-1A is a 1-rack-unit blank faceplate designed for the Middle Atlantic UFA Series small device mounting shelf system. At 19 in wide and just 0.75 in deep, it occupies a single RU of rack space and closes off open shelf slots where no device cutout is needed — keeping the rack face clean, reducing airflow bypass, and preventing cable intrusion at unused positions. Two mounting points secure the panel to the vertical inside of the rack frame.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for Middle Atlantic UFA Series small device mounting shelves. Fits standard 19-in EIA racks with 1.75-in rack unit spacing. The UFAF-1A covers a single open 1RU faceplate position within a rack accessory assembly — verify your UFA shelf configuration requires a 1RU blank before ordering; other faceplate heights in the UFAF line cover different RU counts. The black brushed anodized finish matches standard Middle Atlantic rack hardware for a consistent panel appearance.
