The ACTi A43 is a 2MP zoom bullet camera engineered for mixed-lighting outdoor and semi-outdoor surveillance where zoom reach and lighting compensation matter equally. The 4.3x optical zoom allows you to target specific coverage zones—loading docks, perimeter entry points, parking lot sweeps—without sacrificing the 2MP resolution across the zoomed frame. Extreme WDR handles simultaneous bright and dark areas in a single scene: backlit doorways and dim interior corridors render usable detail without the halo artifacts common in lower-tier WDR implementations. Extreme low-light sensitivity preserves frame rate and detail in near-dark conditions, reducing reliance on constant IR activation. Weighs 2.35 lbs, making it suitable for wall and soffit mounts in fixed-position surveillance designs. This A43 is factory-new and integrates into standard IP surveillance networks without proprietary software.
Compatibility
The A43 operates over standard PoE (802.3af or 802.3at depending on zoom and IR load) and connects to any ONVIF-compliant video management system—including Milestone, Genetec, Hanwha, and open-standards platforms. Confirm your VMS supports 2MP H.264 or H.265 streams and that your PoE switch has available power capacity. No special driver or plugin is required; ONVIF Profile S support ensures broad ecosystem compatibility. Installation Notes

Avoid direct sun reflection on the lens during daytime setup; Extreme WDR compensates for mixed lighting but cannot defeat lens flare.
