Overview
The Panduit UTP28X25 is a 25-foot, Cat 6A, 28 AWG UTP patch cord in off-white. Its compact diameter simplifies cable management in dense environments like data centers, supporting high-speed applications such as 10GBASE-T Ethernet and server virtualization. The patented tangle-free latch ensures secure connection and easy release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate quick port mapping.
Compatibility
This patch cord is designed to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards up to 500 MHz. It is compatible with T568A and T568B wiring schemes. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, making it suitable for powering network devices like IP cameras or wireless access points that draw significant power.
Installation Notes
Constructed with solid 28 AWG conductors and CM/LSZH rated cable, this patch cord offers a reduced diameter of 0.185 inches (4.7mm) for improved airflow and density. The integrated tangle-free latch prevents snagging during installation and removal, simplifying maintenance in racks and patch panels.
