The Middle Atlantic WRK-24-32 is a 24-space (42-inch usable height) open-frame floor rack built for high-density AV, security, and IT equipment installations where depth, load capacity, and row-scalability matter. At 32.63 inches deep with 30.75 inches of usable depth, it accommodates deep NVRs, servers, UPS units, and patch infrastructure without clearance compromises. The rear door is included — useful for dust management and cable containment in mechanical rooms, closets, and equipment rows. This is a drop-ship product and ships direct from the manufacturer.
The WRK-24-32 carries a UL-listed load capacity of 2,500 lbs and a static weight capacity of 10,000 lbs — both relevant when you're stacking dense surveillance storage arrays or full-height UPS systems that conventional AV racks can't support. The rack is seismic-rated to ASCE 7-10, which is the governing standard for government, healthcare, and education facilities in seismic zones. Installation Notes
Plan for a floor footprint of 24.25 inches wide by 32.63 inches deep per unit — add side-clearance if installing non-gangable adjacent equipment. The 10-32 rail system requires cage nuts for equipment that ships with 10-32 screws — verify hardware with your rackmount equipment before install. When ganging multiple units, confirm floor leveling before bolting frames together; uneven floors will stress the gang hardware. Seismic compliance per ASCE 7-10 requires proper floor anchoring — anchor hardware and site-specific engineering are not included and must be sourced separately per local code.
