Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP2.5MGR is a 2.5-meter, green, Cat 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord. Its compact 28 AWG stranded copper construction simplifies cable management in dense network environments, such as server racks or telecommunications closets. The integrated tangle-free latch on the RJ45 connectors prevents snagging and ensures a secure, easy release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. This cord is equipped with RapidID pre-installed barcodes for efficient asset tracking and port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord is designed for standard Ethernet networking and supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T over limited distances as specified by industry standards. It is compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes. The cable meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E specifications for frequencies up to 250 MHz. It also supports IEEE 802.3af/at and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, delivering up to 90W.
