Description

ATEN PE6108G 1U Metered Rack PDU — 8-Outlet IEC 320 C13

Overview

The PE6108G is a 1U rack-mount metered PDU delivering 10A of monitored AC power across eight IEC 320 C13 outlets at 100–240V. Designed for equipment racks where you need per-unit power visibility without dedicating shelf space, the PE6108G mounts flush in a standard 1U position and connects via a 3-meter power cord — long enough to reach most in-rack and top-of-row PDPs without an extension. Metered power delivery means you can track load in real time, which matters when you're commissioning a dense NVR bay or security operations rack and need to verify you're not approaching circuit capacity. The unit ships with CE-LVD safety verification (UL available by request), making it suitable for both North American and international rack deployments. Firmware is actively maintained — current release v2.5.248 as of April 2026 — and power monitoring software (PMonitor) is available for both Windows and Linux environments.

Compatibility

The PE6108G is compatible with any IEC 320 C13-compatible equipment: network switches, NVRs, IP camera encoders, access control servers, and similar rack-mounted security and IT appliances drawing under 10A aggregate. It fits standard 19-inch EIA/ECA-310 equipment racks. Power management is handled via ATEN's PMonitor software (Windows v1.0.081, Linux v1.1), compatible with Windows and common Linux distributions. The SNMP interface enables integration with third-party NMS platforms for centralized power monitoring across multiple rack locations.

Installation Notes

Operating and storage humidity is rated 0–80% RH non-condensing — avoid direct airflow from humidified environments or unconditioned spaces. The 3-meter cord is fixed; plan rack position relative to your PDU whip before mounting. Safety verification is CE-LVD as shipped; UL certification is available by request for deployments requiring NEC/UL compliance documentation.
