Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP14BL is a 14-foot, black, Cat 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-performance data networking. Constructed with 28 AWG stranded conductors and CM/LSZH rated cable, this cord simplifies cable management in dense environments. Its compact 0.150-inch diameter and patented tangle-free latch facilitate easier installation and maintenance, particularly for moves, adds, and changes within network racks. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes enable efficient port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E standards, ensuring reliable performance for 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet) networks. It is also suitable for 155 Mb/s and 622 Mb/s ATM applications, digital video transmission, and voice/data systems including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Importantly, it supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE applications with up to 48 cables in a bundle, and IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 PoE applications with up to 24 cables in a bundle, making it suitable for powering network devices.
