Overview
The Middle Atlantic EB2-CP12 is a contractor pack of 12 flanged steel blank panels, each occupying 2 rack units in a standard 19-inch rack. At just 0.52 inches deep, the EB2-CP12 closes open rack slots without consuming usable interior depth — a practical necessity when finishing security rack builds, AV equipment racks, or network enclosures where unused RU space needs to be sealed for airflow management and a clean install. The flat black powder coat finish matches standard rack aesthetics and holds up in mechanical environments better than paint-over-steel alternatives.
Compatibility
Fits any standard Middle Atlantic rack or enclosure accepting 19-inch EIA-310 panel widths — including the BGR, ERK, PTRK, WMRK, and LD series. Also compatible with third-party 19-inch rack mount accessories and enclosures from APC, Tripp Lite, Chatsworth, and any manufacturer adhering to EIA-310-D mounting standards. The flanged style means two front mounting points per panel — standard for most open-frame and enclosed rack formats. These are not suited for 23-inch telco racks or any non-standard rack width.
Installation Notes
Each panel mounts via 2 points with standard rack screws (not included). At 3.5 inches tall and 19 inches wide, each unit fills exactly 2RU. The 0.52-inch depth keeps panels flush with shallow-depth rack rails. Shipping weight for the 12-unit pack is 16.32 lbs — plan accordingly for freight and on-site handling.
