Each panel occupies exactly 1U (1.75 in) of vertical rack space in a standard 19-inch rack, and the flanged style means it seats flat against the rack rails without flex or rattle — an important detail in vibration-prone environments like server closets or mobile command units. The 17% open area provides enough ventilation to break up hot-air pockets between components without compromising the structural integrity of the panel. Compatibility
