Overview
The Middle Atlantic VTF2-CP12 is a contractor pack of 12 flanged, 2U vented rack panels designed to fill unused rack space while maintaining airflow in enclosed equipment cabinets. Each panel occupies 2 rack units (3.5 in) in a standard 19-inch rack and provides 25% open vent area — enough passive airflow to prevent heat pocketing in densely loaded racks without cutting into usable mounting space. The black powder coat finish blends with standard rack equipment. Buying the VTF2-CP12 12-pack makes sense on multi-rack deployments or stocking jobs where a handful of panels per rack is typical — unit cost drops significantly versus buying individual panels, and you're not making a separate order mid-install when you need two more to close up a rack. Each panel uses a flanged style with 2 mounting points for a secure, rattle-free fit.
Compatibility
Fits any standard Middle Atlantic rack or third-party enclosure built to the EIA-310 19-inch rack standard. Compatible with Middle Atlantic's ERK, BGR, WMRK, and similar open-frame and enclosed rack enclosures. The 19-inch panel width and 2 RU height conform to the universal rack spec, so these also seat correctly in racks from Chatsworth, Panduit, Tripp Lite, and other EIA-310-compliant manufacturers. Installation Notes
Standard rack screw installation — no special tools required beyond a screwdriver. Two mounting points per panel; align to rack rail holes and fasten with rack screws appropriate to your rail type (10-32, 12-24, or M6 depending on your rack). Panels are not hinged and do not block light — plan accordingly if light isolation is a requirement in your enclosure. Shipping weight for the 12-pack is 12.2 lbs (5.5 kg).
