Overview

The Panduit UTPSP10RDY is a 10-foot, red, Cat 6 UTP patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper, it supports Ethernet up to 10Gbps and is rated for PoE++ (802.3bt), ensuring sufficient power delivery for compatible devices. The integral pair manager and tangle-free latch simplify cable management and ensure reliable connections for moves, adds, and changes.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards, making it fully compatible with equipment requiring Cat 6 performance. It supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T Ethernet, as well as ATM and digital video applications. It is also wired to support both T568A and T568B wiring schemes and is compatible with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt type 3 and type 4 PoE applications.

Installation Notes

The cable features a CM flammability rating, suitable for use in non-plenum building spaces. The slender strain relief boot provides access in high-density racks, and the tangle-free latch prevents snags during installation or maintenance. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes on the plug facilitate easy port mapping with compatible software.
