Overview

The Panduit UTPCH10RDY is a 10-foot, red Cat 5e Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord designed for reliable Ethernet connectivity. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and featuring Pan-Plug™ modular connectors, this cable supports up to Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and is rated for CM flammability, making it suitable for in-wall installations. The integrated tangle-free latch protects against snags and simplifies moves, adds, and changes in structured cabling deployments.

Compatibility

This Cat 5e patch cord is engineered to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 5e standards, ensuring compatibility with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) networks. It also supports high-speed ATM and Token Ring applications. Furthermore, it is wired to support IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, delivering up to 60W of power without degradation of data signal integrity. It is compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.

Installation Notes

The cable features a patented tangle-free latch that prevents snagging during installation and removal.
