Overview

The Panduit UTPCH1MBUY is a 1-meter, blue Cat 5e Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper CM-rated cable and terminated with Pan-Plug™ modular connectors, it's designed for high-density network environments. The integrated tangle-free latch simplifies moves, adds, and changes by preventing snags and ensuring easy release. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes streamline port mapping and network management workflows.

Compatibility

This UTPCH1MBUY patch cord supports Ethernet standards up to 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), 155 Mb/s ATM, and 622 Mb/s ATM. It is compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes. The cable construction meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 5e and ISO 11801 Class D standards, ensuring reliable performance for voice/data systems and VoIP applications.

Installation Notes

The cable is CM rated, suitable for use in non-plenum spaces. It supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt type 3 and type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, drawing power up to the requirements of PoE++ standards without performance degradation.
