Overview

The Vertiv RJ45-CATX-SFP is a 1000BASE-T copper SFP transceiver designed to convert an SFP port into a standard RJ45 Ethernet connection. This module allows you to utilize standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for network connectivity, ideal for extending network reach within a facility or integrating devices that require an RJ45 interface where only SFP ports are available. It's a direct replacement for fiber SFPs when copper Ethernet is the required medium.

This transceiver is compatible with any network device featuring an SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) slot that supports 1000BASE-T copper modules.
