It functions as IEEE 802.3at Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), delivering up to 30W @ 48VDC on the electrical port — eliminating the need for a separate midspan injector in many surveillance deployments. Auto-negotiation on the copper side means no manual speed configuration; the optical side locks to 100 Mbps full-duplex. This is the right choice when you need to extend Ethernet over distance (fiber reaches up to 80 km depending on SFP selection) while simultaneously powering a remote IP camera or edge device without additional power infrastructure.

Compatibility

The CNFE2MCPOEM works with any standard RJ45-fed IP camera, NVR, or PoE-enabled device on the electrical side. On the optical side, it accepts any industry-standard SFP module — you select the transceiver based on fiber type (single-mode 9µm, multimode 50µm or 62.5µm), distance, and connector preference (LC, SC, ST).
