Comnet DCPM-1 Adjustable Linear Power Module
Overview
The Comnet DCPM-1 is a compact linear power module designed to supply regulated, adjustable voltage to peripheral access control devices and low-current security hardware. It accepts 10–28V AC or DC input and outputs a selectable voltage between 6–26 VDC at up to 1A, plus a fixed 5.0V output for logic-level control circuits. This architecture solves the common integration problem of mismatched power requirements across mixed-vendor access control ecosystems — instead of stocking multiple wall-mount supplies, a single DCPM-1 can feed different peripherals each their required voltage from one input source.
Compatibility
The DCPM-1 works with any standard access control reader, relay module, or peripheral device rated for 6–26 VDC operation at 1A or less. This includes magnetic locks, electric strikes, door sensors, relay outputs from access panels, and auxiliary control circuits commonly found in systems by Honeywell, Salto, Axis, HID, Kaba, and other access platforms. The fixed 5.0V output supports low-power logic devices and sensor inputs. Always confirm the device's current draw before assignment — if a single device exceeds 1A at the selected voltage, provision a separate dedicated supply or use a higher-capacity Comnet power module.
