The VE-9X20MK is the dedicated internal adapter panel kit for Viking's VE-9x20 cast aluminum outdoor enclosure. When you need to surface-mount a device or module inside the VE-9x20 housing — intercoms, telephone interface boards, or communication equipment — this panel provides a structured mounting surface rather than improvising hardware against the bare enclosure interior. Each kit ships ready to install with all required hardware included.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the Viking Electronics VE-9x20 enclosure series. This panel is specific to the VE-9x20 footprint and is not interchangeable with the VE-9x12 family, which uses its own panel kits (VE-9x12MK-1 and VE-9x12MK-2). If you are working with a VE-9x12 enclosure, order the correct MK variant for that model.

Installation Notes

The VE-9X20MK mounts to the interior of the VE-9x20 via included screws. The panel kit supports surface mounting to a wall, post, or single-gang outlet box — consult the VE-Series Product Manual for orientation and fastener placement. The VE-9x20 enclosure itself carries NEMA/EEMAC Type 4, 4X, and 12 ratings with a gasket-sealed door, so maintain the door seal integrity during any panel installation to preserve the environmental rating.
