Compatibility

This adapter is compatible with any host device featuring a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port that supports USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode. It is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, though data transfer speeds and video output capabilities will be limited by the host port's specifications. It supports a single display output via HDMI.

Installation Notes

For optimal performance, connect the adapter to a USB-C port on your host device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and USB Power Delivery. To achieve 4096 x 2160p resolution at 24Hz, ensure your display and graphics card also support this resolution and refresh rate. The USB-C Power Delivery port on the adapter is for charging the host device only and does not support data transfer. Connect your laptop's original USB-C power adapter to this port to charge your laptop while using the adapter's other functions. The adapter itself consumes approximately 8W of power.
