Overview

The ATEN UH3233 is a compact USB-C mini dock that extends a single host connection into two HDMI outputs — the practical fix when a laptop or small-form-factor PC needs to drive a dual-display setup without a docking station. The UH3233 connects via the included 1m USB-C cable, keeping the host tethered at a comfortable distance from the displays without requiring a separate power brick for most standard use cases. One USB-C port in, two HDMI female ports out: straightforward to deploy in workstation, control-room, or digital-signage scenarios where the source device is USB-C equipped.

Compatibility

The UH3233 is designed for hosts with a USB-C port that carries DisplayPort Alt Mode — required to drive dual HDMI output. Verify your source device supports USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode before ordering; standard USB-C data-only ports will not produce video output. Compatible with any HDMI-equipped display, monitor, or projector on the output side. Operates within environments up to 80% relative humidity (non-condensing), making it suitable for standard indoor commercial and office installations.

Installation Notes

Keep ambient humidity below 80% RH non-condensing — condensing environments (loading docks, unconditioned server rooms with temperature swings) will put the unit outside its rated operating range. The 1m USB-C cable is fixed-length; plan host-to-dock placement accordingly. No drivers are required for standard OS display detection, though dual-display output behavior (extend vs. mirror) is governed by the host OS display settings. The power indicator uses a blue/orange LED to confirm active connection status.
