Overview

The UPS-2U-US is a 2U rack-mount, line-interactive UPS built to keep network video recorders, switches, and controllers running through short utility outages. It delivers 1,000W (1,440VA) of output at 120V AC with a 6ms typical transfer time to battery — fast enough that connected NVRs and PoE switches don't drop frames or reboot during a blip. An onboard 100/10 MbE port lets you monitor status and alerts over the network instead of walking the rack, and the front-panel LED reports state at a glance (steady blue for normal operation, flashing red for low battery). At full load expect roughly 2.3 minutes of runtime — enough to ride out a flicker or trigger an orderly shutdown, not a long-duration outage.

Compatibility

This is a general-purpose 120V AC rack UPS, not tied to a specific camera or NVR family — it fits any 19-inch rack enclosure alongside network video recorders, PoE switches, and other rack-mount security infrastructure drawing under 1,000W combined. It pairs naturally with Ubiquiti's UniFi Protect NVR appliances and other rack-mounted gear in the Ubiquiti product line, and the Ethernet management port is intended for integration into a standard IP-managed rack. Confirm total connected load stays under the 1,000W/1,440VA capacity before populating the rack — the two GbE surge-only ports and four NEMA 5-15R battery-backed outlets set the physical connection limits.
