Overview
The Ubiquiti CK-ENTERPRISE is a 1RU rack-mount controller designed to centralize management of UniFi access points, switches, gateways, and security appliances across enterprise deployments. Built on a 16-core Intel Xeon-SP Gold 5218 processor running at 2.3 GHz with 32 GB DDR4 ECC memory, it handles hundreds of devices without external cloud dependencies. The 787 mm chassis (31") integrates into standard 19-inch racks and delivers the compute density needed for multi-site campus networks, distributed branch deployments, and air-gapped security environments where local management authority is non-negotiable.
Compatibility
The CK-ENTERPRISE manages the entire UniFi ecosystem: UniFi 6 and UniFi 7 WiFi access points (all models), UniFi Dream Machine and Dream Machine Pro gateways, UniFi switches (USW series, including PoE-enabled variants), and UniFi Protect IP cameras and NVRs. It provides native federation with optional cloud failover for redundancy. Management interfaces include dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports (primary and secondary), one dedicated Gigabit management port for isolated control traffic, and one 10G SFP+ uplink for high-throughput fabric integration into existing network cores. Initial setup uses Bluetooth provisioning or direct Ethernet access; ongoing administration occurs through the web GUI or native client applications.
Installation Notes
The CK-ENTERPRISE requires 19-inch rack rails and standard four-post enclosure mounting. Dual 550W internal power supplies deliver redundancy—no external PSU required. The aluminum front panel and SGCC steel chassis withstand typical data-center environments. Mount orientation is horizontal (1RU depth: 481.4 mm). Connect both LAN ports to network backbone; the 10G SFP+ uplink accepts module-based fiber or direct-attach copper depending on your fabric architecture. The on-board 256 GB M.2 SATA storage holds local backups and device configurations; no additional storage provisioning is necessary for deployments up to 500 devices.
