Overview

The Panduit FPS6X88MTG-X is a shielded RJ45 field-terminating connector designed for Cat6A 4-pair twisted-pair cables, supporting 22-26 AWG wire gauges. It maintains the cable's pair geometry, preventing wire untwisting and ensuring optimal performance for high-speed data transmission. This connector simplifies the deployment of network devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points by providing a robust, field-installable termination point.

Compatibility

This connector is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e standards. It terminates 100 Ohm shielded 4-pair twisted-pair cables. It supports applications compliant with IEEE 802.3af/802.3at (PoE/PoE+) and proposed 802.3bt Types 3 and 4 (PoE++), delivering up to 100 Watts for Power over HDBaseT applications. It meets or exceeds TIA requirements for modular plug terminated link segments.
