Description

Altronix T2PHK7524 Power Distribution Module

Overview

The Altronix T2PHK7524 is a compact power distribution module designed to efficiently power multiple 24VAC surveillance devices, such as cameras and IR illuminators, from a single power source. This unit is ideal for installations where distributed power is required, simplifying wiring and reducing the number of individual power supplies needed. It features individual fused outputs to protect each connected device and the overall system from overcurrent conditions. The T2PHK7524 is UL listed, ensuring it meets stringent safety and performance standards for commercial installations.

Compatibility

This module is designed to work with a wide range of 24VAC surveillance cameras and accessories that draw up to 750mA per output and a total of 24VA. It is compatible with most IP and analog cameras requiring a 24VAC input, including popular models from brands like Axis, Hanwha, Hikvision, Dahua, and others that specify 24VAC power. It integrates seamlessly into existing power infrastructure, acting as a central distribution point.

Installation Notes

Installation requires a 24VAC input power source (transformer not included). Each of the 2 outputs is individually fused, allowing for easy replacement of blown fuses without affecting other connected devices. The module requires a secure mounting location, typically within a cabinet or enclosure, to protect it from environmental factors. Ensure the total VA draw of connected devices does not exceed the module's capacity. Use appropriate gauge wiring for input and output connections to maintain voltage integrity.
