Compatibility

This module is specifically designed for use with the Altronix Trove2 series of access control and power distribution enclosures. It is compatible with Altronix Trove2 backplates, including but not limited to the TROVE2, TROVE2LCD, and TROVE2MP backplates. It is intended to power devices such as card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, IP cameras, and other low-voltage security system components when installed within a compatible Trove2 enclosure.

Installation Notes

Installation requires mounting the T2MK7F8SD module onto a compatible Altronix Trove2 backplate. Power input from the backplate's main power supply connects to the module's input terminals. The eight fused outputs are then available for connecting individual devices. Each output provides up to 2.5A continuous, with a maximum total output current of 8A. The PTC resettable breakers eliminate the need for fuse replacement after an overcurrent event; simply remove the fault condition and the breaker will reset. Ensure proper wiring practices and consult the Trove2 enclosure manual for detailed installation diagrams and power budget calculations.
