Overview

The Transition Networks SGPAT1040-105-FNA is a specialized RJ-45 connector designed to inject PoE+ power onto an Ethernet cable, simplifying the installation of IP devices that require both data and power. This connector is ideal for extending power to devices like IP cameras or wireless access points where a standard PoE switch is not directly accessible at the device location. It supports Gigabit speeds, ensuring no bandwidth bottleneck for your network devices.

Compatibility

This connector is compatible with any standard Ethernet cable run and any PoE+ (802.3at) capable power sourcing equipment (PSE) such as PoE+ switches or midspan injectors. It is designed to deliver power to devices that adhere to the 802.3at standard, including many IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones. It functions as a passive power injector when used with non-PoE devices, but its primary function is to pass PoE+ power from a PSE to a PoE-powered device (PD).

Installation Notes
