The Transition Networks CWDM-M1631LCR is an unmanaged, 16-channel Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) media converter designed to aggregate multiple Gigabit Ethernet links over a single fiber optic strand. This unit is ideal for extending network reach in environments where deploying multiple fiber runs is impractical or cost-prohibitive, such as large campus networks or industrial facilities. Its DIN rail mountable design ensures straightforward integration into existing control cabinets.

Compatibility

This media converter is designed for point-to-point CWDM deployments. It requires a matching CWDM transceiver on the remote end, operating on the corresponding wavelength.
