The Transition Networks C2210-1011 is a fiber media converter designed for Fast Ethernet installations requiring conversion between copper twisted-pair and single-mode fiber. This plug-in module operates at 10/100 Mbps, supporting both standard Ethernet and Fast Ethernet protocols. Ideal for extending network reach over longer distances or bridging infrastructure in security and telecom installations where fiber isolation is required.
The C2210-1011 integrates into Transition Networks C2210 Series carrier systems and supports standard RJ-45 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX interfaces on the copper side. Single-mode fiber connectivity enables deployment in environments where multimode fiber is unsuitable or where extended transmission distances are necessary. Unmanaged operation provides plug-and-play configuration without management overhead.
Suitable for security integrators, telecom installers, and IT infrastructure teams deploying fiber-based backbone links, remote site connections, or EMI-isolated network segments in industrial and campus environments.
