The 882251-B21 is an HPE-branded optic validated for use in HPE switching and server platforms that expose QSFP28 ports, including the HPE FlexFabric and Aruba CX switch families that support 100GbE uplinks. As with all vendor-coded optics, confirm port compatibility against your specific HPE switch or adapter model before ordering — QSFP28 is the physical standard, but firmware validation tables on HPE platforms determine which part numbers are accepted without generating unsupported-transceiver alerts.
