Description

Panduit FS2EPLHLHNHM003 Fiber Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FS2EPLHLHNHM003 is a 3-meter (9.84 ft) duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in enterprise and data center environments. It utilizes OM4+ Opti-Core™ technology, providing enhanced bandwidth and performance for demanding applications. The Aqua colored, Plénum (OFNP) rated zipcord jacket makes it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces, ensuring safety and compliance. This cord connects two active fiber optic devices or ports, ideal for switch-to-switch or switch-to-server links where maximum data throughput is critical.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered for use with standard fiber optic equipment supporting LC Duplex connectors. It is compatible with Panduit's extensive range of fiber optic transceivers, patch panels, and equipment racks. The OM4+ fiber type ensures backward compatibility with OM3 infrastructure while offering superior performance for 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE applications. It is suitable for integration into existing network cabling infrastructure requiring Plénum-rated cables.

Installation Notes

The cable features a 1.6mm zipcord construction, offering a balance of flexibility and durability. Ensure clean and proper termination of the LC Duplex connectors to maintain signal integrity. The Plénum (OFNP) rating mandates installation within air-handling plenums above suspended ceilings or under raised floors. Adhere to bend radius limitations to prevent signal loss or cable damage. The RoHS compliance ensures it meets international standards for hazardous substance reduction.
