ATEN EA1640 Temperature AND Humidity Sensor

Overview

The ATEN EA1640 is a rack-mountable environmental sensor designed to provide real-time temperature and humidity data. It integrates with compatible ATEN monitoring units to alert you to environmental deviations that could impact sensitive equipment, such as in server rooms or network closets. The EA1640 model adds humidity sensing capabilities to your existing environmental monitoring setup.

Compatibility

This sensor is designed to connect to specific ATEN environmental monitoring units. It features a terminal block port compatible with door sensors (EA1440/EA1441/EA1442) and capacitive leakage sensors (EA1540). It also includes an RJ-11 port for original temperature sensors (EA1140/EA1240/EA1340), allowing for expansion or replacement of existing sensors within those ATEN systems.

Installation Notes

The EA1640 operates within a temperature range of -10 to 75 °C. Its black polycarbonate housing is suitable for standard rack environments. Accuracy for temperature readings is ±1°C between 10-40°C and ±1.5°C between -10-10°C and 40-75°C. Humidity accuracy is ±7.5% RH between 30-70% RH and ±15% RH between 15-40% RH and 70-90% RH. Firmware version v1.0.066 is the current release.
