The universal mounting plate includes an onboard shorting spring for wiring continuity verification before device installation—a practical feature that eliminates post-installation faults. Installation Notes
Plug-in architecture means no soldering or crimping inside the back box. Mount using the supplied universal plate on standard electrical boxes. The device supports field-selectable candela settings (15, 15/75, 30, 75, 95, 110, 115, 135, 150, 177, and 185 cd) via a rotary switch—useful when brightness requirements vary across zones in the same system. A tamper-resistant construction option is available. Confirm your power supply can deliver the full 12 or 24VDC at the device location before final installation; voltage sag under load will reduce horn output below rated 88dB.
