Description

APC by Schneider Electric SYH4K6RMT-TF3 Rackmount UPS

Overview

The APC Symmetra RM SYH4K6RMT-TF3 is a 4 kVA (2800 W) online double-conversion rack-mountable UPS designed for critical IT infrastructure. It provides continuous, clean power with zero transfer time, essential for sensitive equipment like network switches, servers, and surveillance systems operating on 208/240V power. Its online topology isolates connected devices from utility power fluctuations, ensuring stable operation and protecting against outages, surges, and sags. The SYH4K6RMT-TF3 is built for 24/7 operation in demanding environments.

Compatibility

This unit is designed to support standard 208V/240V IT equipment. It connects via a NEMA L6-30P input plug and provides power through six output receptacles: four NEMA L5-20R (20A, 120V) and two NEMA L6-20R (20A, 208V). It's suitable for rack-mounted servers, network switches, and video recorders where consistent, conditioned power is paramount.

Installation Notes

Requires a 208/240V, 30A, 3-wire (2PH + G) circuit for input connection using the provided NEMA L6-30P plug. Features a hot-swappable battery design, allowing for battery replacement without powering down connected equipment. Battery recharge time is approximately 4 hours to 90% capacity. Audible alarms and an Emergency Power Off (EPO) port are included for immediate shutdown in critical situations.
