Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric SMTL1000RMI2UC is a 1kVA/800W line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for rackmount deployments. It provides pure sine wave output, critical for sensitive electronics like servers, network switches, and workstations. The Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology offers longer life and higher thermal stability compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. With a 680 Joule surge energy rating, it protects connected equipment from transient voltage spikes. Compatibility

This UPS is designed to support standard 19-inch rack infrastructure. It is compatible with a wide range of IT equipment, including servers, network attached storage (NAS) devices, and workstations that require pure sine wave power. The six C13 outlets provide direct connections for multiple devices. The SmartSlot allows for network management cards, enhancing remote monitoring and control capabilities. The SmartConnect port enables cloud-based remote monitoring of the UPS status and health.

Installation Notes

The unit operates within an input voltage range of 151V to 302V and an output voltage range of 220V to 240V, supporting both 50Hz and 60Hz input frequencies. It requires a standard 230V input connection. Ensure adequate ventilation around the rackmount chassis to prevent overheating, as the unit is designed for controlled environments.
