Compatibility
This unit is designed as a modular component within the APC Symmetra LX Power Array system. It is compatible with other Symmetra LX chassis and battery modules (SYBT5) to scale power and runtime. It interfaces with management systems via its Smart-Slot and DB-9 RS-232 port. It is intended to supplement existing APC Symmetra LX power configurations rather than operate as a standalone UPS for typical IT equipment.
Installation Notes
Installation requires a 120/208V 2-phase (2PH+N+G) 4-wire input connection, with specific output connections including 2x NEMA L14-30R and 4x NEMA L5-20R. The operating temperature range is 0-40 °C, with a storage range of -15-45 °C. Relative humidity can range from 0-95% non-condensing for both operation and storage. Battery recharge time is approximately 3 hours. The unit features hot-swap battery capability for continuous power during battery replacement.
